PFLAG Cincinnati is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Opportunities include

• serving on the Board as an officer or at-large member

• serving on committees such as the scholarship or program committee

• working on advocacy issues

• speaking for classes, forums, panels

• working at booths or information tables at events such as Pride, Youth Summit, Black Family Reunion, school events, PTA meetings

• managing and updating the library

• updating the literature supply

• correspondence

• fund-raising for scholarships and other needs

• providing refreshment at meetings

• answering the hotline

• organizing special events such as bringing in a speaker or hosting a film showing

• developing outreach

• working with the press and media
