Each year PFLAG Cincinnati offers scholarships to students residing in or attending college in the greater Cincinnati area. The purpose of the scholarship program is to reward students who help to fulfill PFLAG’s missions of support, education and advocacy. Since the program’s inception in 1992, PFLAG has awarded over $125,000 in scholarships to over 100 talented and deserving gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight-supportive college students. Applicants are reviewed by the PFLAG Scholarship Committee. Awardees are announced during Pride month at the June PFLAG meeting each year.
